ADD TASK

ADD Task is built to hold as little about you as it can. Here is exactly what goes where.

On your iPhone

Your tasks live on your iPhone. If you choose Continue on this iPhone, nothing is sent to us at all.

When you sign in

Signing in with Apple or Google keeps a private copy of your list on our server so a new phone can bring it back, your calendar can subscribe to your due dates, and reminders can reach you. The copy holds task titles, what you said, labels, due dates, repeats, and when tasks were finished. We keep the account ID Apple or Google gives us, and the name and email they share, so the people you share lists with see your name.

Shared lists

Everyone in a shared list sees and can change the tasks in it, and sees your name. An invite link or code works for two weeks. You can remove people, leave, or stop sharing any time.

Email and texts

We only email or text an address or number you confirmed with a code, and only for what you turned on: the morning list and reminders for tasks you marked Critical. Messages are delivered by our email and text provider, Brevo, which handles them only to deliver them. Every email has a link to stop them. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. We never sell your contact details or use them for marketing.

Screenshots, meetings, and AI

A screenshot or meeting recording is read on your iPhone. When you’re signed in, the words (never the image or the audio) may be sent to OpenAI to pull out tasks. If that isn’t available, your phone does it on its own.

Your Apple Watch

The watch sends what you say straight to your iPhone. It keeps only today’s list to show you.

Deleting your account

Settings → Delete account deletes the tasks on that iPhone, the copy on our server, your confirmed email and phone, and your place in shared lists.

Tracking

ADD Task does not track you across apps or websites and has no ads.
